Come Near to God: An Invitation for You
At Throne of Grace Fellowship, our deepest desire is simple: we want to help people draw near to God.
We know life can feel busy, complicated, and even overwhelming. Many of us carry worries, doubts, or hurts that make us wonder if God really wants us close.
But Scripture gives us this beautiful promise:
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)
That invitation is open to every single one of us.
No One Is Too Far
Some people feel they’ve messed up too much or drifted too far away. Maybe you’ve stayed away from church for years, or you’ve struggled with questions you couldn’t answer.
Hear this clearly: God’s invitation is for you.
He isn’t waiting for you to clean yourself up before coming to Him. He simply wants you to come.
Come As You Are
At Throne of Grace, we want to be a place where you can come just as you are. No need to pretend or perform. Whether you’re new to faith, coming back after time away, or have walked with Jesus for years, there’s room for you here.
We don’t have all the answers—but we know the One who does. We want to seek Him together.
An Invitation to Rest
Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
If you’re tired of trying to carry everything on your own, there’s another way. God offers you rest for your soul, peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, and hope that endures.
How to Draw Near
- Talk to Him. Prayer doesn’t need fancy words. Just speak honestly.
- Listen to His Word. The Bible is full of His promises and truth.
- Be in Community. Don’t try to do faith alone. Find people who will walk with you.
- Say Yes. Take the next step He’s nudging you toward—even if it feels small.
You’re Invited
If you’re looking for a place to draw near to God, we’d love for you to join us.
Come and see what He might want to do in your life. Bring your questions. Bring your hopes. Bring your hurts.
Let’s seek Him together.
Because when you draw near to God—He promises He will draw near to you.
