Jay Hassman
LEAD PASTOR
At the center of everything Pastor Jay does, whether in ministry, leadership, coaching, counseling, or everyday life, is a deep and unwavering love for God. Since surrendering his life to Christ, his journey has been marked by transformation, grace, healing, and a continual pursuit of God’s presence. He believes that true hope, wisdom, peace, and purpose are found only in Jesus Christ, and that every calling begins with intimacy with Him.
Pastor Jay serves as the lead pastor of Throne of Grace Fellowship in Ocala, Florida, where his passion is to see lives restored, families strengthened, and people awakened to the love and truth of God. His heart for ministry is rooted not in titles or recognition, but in surrender to the Holy Spirit and a commitment to faithfully serve others with compassion, authenticity, and biblical truth.
In addition to pastoral ministry, Pastor Jay recently graduated from Crown College with a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership with an emphasis in Leadership Coaching and Counseling. Through both his academic training and personal ministry experience, he is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges while growing spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Whether through preaching, mentoring, coaching, counseling, or simply walking alongside people in difficult seasons, his desire is always to reflect the heart of Christ.
Pastor Jay believes that spiritual leadership begins at home and that faith must be lived out daily through humility, love, prayer, and obedience to God. His ministry is built on the conviction that no life is beyond God’s reach and that His grace still transforms hearts and rewrites stories.
Above all, Pastor Jay’s greatest desire is to know God more deeply and to live a life that brings glory to Him. In every opportunity and every season, his prayer is that Jesus would be seen, known, and exalted.
Joshua 24:15 (NIV) continues to serve as a foundational scripture for his life and ministry:
“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
This verse reflects the commitment that guides his home, his marriage, his ministry, and his mission to faithfully serve God and lead others into a deeper relationship with Him.
