Redeemed: What the Cross Means for Us - March 22 at 10:30am
Seven hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ, the prophet Isaiah foretold the sacrifice that would change history. In the Book of Isaiah we read, “He was pierced for our transgressions.” This powerful prophecy reminds us that the cross was never an afterthought. Redemption was always God’s plan.
The word redemption means to buy back. Humanity was trapped in sin and unable to free itself, but God paid the price through Jesus. Isaiah writes that Christ “bore our griefs” and that “the Lord laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” At the cross, Jesus carried our sin so that we could receive His righteousness.
This is often called the great exchange. Our sin for His righteousness, our guilt for His grace, and our death for His life. Because of the cross, believers are not only forgiven; they are restored and given a new identity in Christ.
If you belong to Jesus, your past no longer defines you. You are redeemed.
Live like the redeemed. Walk in freedom and leave shame at the cross.

Finally there will be short, Scripture-based bible discussions, and inspirational talks.
