No situation is beyond the authority of Jesus and that means not even death itself. In the final message of our Miracles of Jesus series, Pastor Jay will explore the powerful account of Lazarus and Christ’s life-giving command: “Lazarus, come forth!”
Mary and Martha believed Jesus could have prevented their brother’s death, but Christ revealed that His power was greater than they had imagined. What appeared final became the setting for God’s glory to be revealed. At the voice of Jesus, Lazarus walked out of the tomb.
We all experience places that feel lifeless including buried dreams, broken relationships, deep grief, spiritual weariness, or circumstances that seem impossible to change. The story of Lazarus reminds us that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. When He speaks, hopelessness and death do not have the final word.
